Abdou Camara

Field Nurse Coordinator

Abdou Camara is CHIME’s Field Nurse Coordinator. He has had a varied career, originally serving in the government of The Gambia for eight years (1993-2002) until he joined MRC Unit The Gambia in 2002 as an x-ray field technician. Abdou progressed in his career to Field Nurse Coordinator in both vaccines & immunity and planetary health. He has a wealth of clinical experience and worked on multiple clinical trial and social science studies. As Nurse Coordinator Abdou is responsible for providing leadership, support and supervision to the field team; coordinating and overseeing participant recruitment; supervising the field nurses in intervention sessions.
