Aji Matty Manjang

PhD student

Aji Matty Manjang is a public health researcher with a strong background in Social Science and a Master’s degree in Public Health, specializing in Health Systems and Disease Control. She is passionate about understanding how community knowledge, perceptions, and behaviors influence the way health systems function and evolve. Currently pursuing her PhD with the CHIME project, Aji Matty intends to explore how community-led maternal mental health interventions can be sustained and effectively embedded into mainstream perinatal services. Her research will take a system-level perspective, focusing on evaluating health system readiness for integrating innovative approaches like CHIME.
