Professor G.J. Melendez-Torres, a clinical and social epidemiologist at the University of Exeter, leads SPHERE, a public health research group, and co-leads the Isca Evidence group. He promotes inclusive research through roles with NIHR and previously guided NHS evaluations of new treatments. As the citiesRISE Research Chair in Public Mental Health, he develops innovative strategies to enhance youth mental health globally, advancing impactful approaches to public and mental health challenges.
