Jainaba Sey-Sawo

PhD supervisor in The Gambia

Jainaba Sey-Sawo is the Head of Department, Nursing and Reproductive Health, SMAHS, University of The Gambia. A dedicated nurse educator since 2006, she mentors students and junior faculty and supervises research projects. She is a member of the Gambian Government-MRC Joint Ethics Committee. She is a Co-PI to the grant Strengthening Capacity in Health Research Ethics and Methodology in The Gambia (#1R25TW011804-01A1), awarded by the NIH, FIC, USA 2022-2027. Jainaba collaborates with colleagues on impactful research, advancing healthcare education and ethics in The Gambia.
