Nydey is a qualified nurse with a Bachelors of Science in nursing. She worked with the MRC for 5 years gaining experience in maternal, child, and community health research, and has contributed to projects including CHIME as well as ISSC (Scubies), the Sniffer Dog Malaria Project, and Precise (maternal health). In her current role as CHIME field nurse she hopes to meaningfully contribute to improving maternal mental health in The Gambia by supporting women through this culturally relevant intervention.
